We always have a "smoke season," usually in August. Typically, it lasts a few days to, maybe, a few weeks. Last year it lasted over two months. Last year California was burning up and this year the reservoirs are full. Last year in Utah they were predicting the end of the Great Salt Lake. This year it's high. Problem is, extreme weather is deadly to people, fauna, & flora, including crops.
