Just finished Day's Gone. 8/10 I approve. The fact that I stuck to this to the end over the past week or two SAYS SOMETHING
Pros
Good sense of progression
Wide weapon variety
Bike upgrades are fun to get
Story is solid
you actually get to play as a cool white dude who wants to find his hot wife
You get a bang for your buck, took me almost 50 hours and I did about 70-80% of the content
Becoming strong enough to fight Hordes with hundreds of Freakers(zombie) running at you was an excellent feeling
Cons
Some Gay ESG shit in it (1 mixed race lesbian couple, black science man, though it's mainly in the background)
Some glitchiness in the PC version
LOTTA side missions you need to do if you want to get the "true" ending, including a bunch of stuff for the various camps. Hunting Hordes helps out near the end though
Overall solid. Sucks to hear there isn't a sequel being made as of right now despite some of the cliffhanger stuff that was at the end
