I agree that we can't yet call the modern wave of ML models "intelligent", but with all due respect to Dr Chomsky, who is a very brilliant man... what human brains at their most basic are, it's a zillion times more efficient network of analogue supercomputers. The efficiency of a human brain, or outdated 20th century capitalist laws are very poor arguments. Especially when no human is born with culture, art, or a sense of aesthetics. It's all trained: copied, re-mixed, and re-generated.
