This is a damn shame. I remember when mastodon first hit the scene I was ready for a better internet with less censorship. Alas, it didn't take long for all those folks decrying censorship to turn on folks with opinions that don't align with theirs. Pretty soon they were hard-coding bans of servers.

Doesn't stop there either. We got folks ousted from NixOS recently, people picking on the creator of hyprland, the list goes on.
