Teslas are incredible machines that require very little maintenance, are safer, and are more economical than driving a Camry over a 5-year period. In that regard it's just math, they're better transportation and a better asset to hold in terms of depreciation. Sometimes I'd even wake up to a firmware update that made my vehicle more efficient...crazy. No matter how you slice it, cars are money pits and a terrible way to spend one's money. Will probably purchase a severely-depreciated Toyota Hilux next time around, ideally with financing (always, ALWAYS play the fiat game for what it is), but credit is hard to come by in this country currently.
