Any opinions on the usefulness of doorbell cameras? I've been avoiding them as contributors to the surveillance state, but can't help noticing how I stand out as not having one among my neighbors. I will not buy Ring in any circumstance, probably Ecobee as their thermostat came with the house and they keep offering me pretty nice deals.
