I was reading a story months ago on a Chinese website. It was talking about Bushido. In particular, of the Japanese female warriors, the Onna-bugeisha. They have been described as very poor, desperate women, without values or possessions. Thus, according to the author of the article, they were brainwashed by Bushido and became warriors. The author intended to discredit the figure, pointing them out as poor and desperate people, but for me he did the exact opposite.
Sometimes, for some topics, it's better to consider the substance, without considering the expression and attitude of the interlocutor.
