Right now if I sat out on the porch, it would be cold, and the view I'd see wouldn't be golden fields, but a blanket of white snow.

But not that long ago, the view I saw wouldn't support snow at all, and the idea of a cold wind would have been most welcome.

Nature isn't static, nor is she controllable. Comforting thoughts.
