OTOH working in train office is - at least for me - much more efficient and effective than on planes or in airports. Just had a visit at CERN - inbound by train (full workday as you describe, but at least 7 hours used for billable work), outbound by plane (5 hours with a very tight connection, nearly missed, 1h work done).
