Wait. Did he actually just gloss over
1) Clearview exists _and used scraped data from FB_ (among other systems around the world)
2) Facial authentication for devices from multiple vendors exists and has since before 2020
3) the fact that he's upset two States currently and explicitly say they aren't allowed to implement something that they're trying to make
4) they already have the "People you may know" algorithm in Facebook (though that is using different parameters)
What am I missing about his seemingly disingenuous statement?
