For real though I think interviews and in-person exams are going to make a comeback, at least as far as the concept of a "prestigious" institution is going to be viable long term (they are currently doing everything they can to burn it down)
I think many employers are just going to tacitly admit that intelligence doesn't matter, all they need is basic executive function, and "having a degree" (even just chatGPTing your way through admissions and class and graduation) is one of the few remaining ways to test that, that doesn't run afoul of the Civil Rights Act
