James’ blog is great and all but if you love his writing, then consider joining the Printing Historical Society and/or becoming a Friend of St Bride. If you live near a large research library, go in and ask for back copies of the Journal of the Printing Historical Society, where he devoted so much of his writing efforts, as well as other publications like Motif. The most important research on the practice of printing is found in pieces that are printed.
