I tend to find banks seem insanely blasé about handing out loans - and as ever the mind boggles about the logic of the whole debt market.
OH and I both looked at borrowing the same amount from the same bank via each of our own logins to he same joint account.
OH who earns about £4k more than me and has no debt (credit cards etc are all in my name) is offered an APR 2% higher than what they will offer me - who earns less and has rather large long term debts against his name already. 🤪
