(not sudden) realisation: Go is basically how to take C, slightly augment it, and then successfully market it to webdevs; unlike it's predecessor as dominant GPPL for backend devs, Python, Go has static typing, it's still an improvement, just like Python was an improvement over PHP due to strict typing
I still don't want to learn it, just like I wouldn't learn PHP or Perl, but I also shouldn't hate on it, generally hating on PLs and other standards looks super silly from my current perspective
