Same goes for Germany. A couple of years ago the auditors were denied access to audit the German gold in the US. As a result Germany demanded a portion of their gold to be returned to Germany. Months later Germany received a fraction of what was demanded but those bars came from France and didn't bear the Bundesbank stamps.
