I do understand the comparison. But it's not accurate.
Men who threaten women, assault or murder them, what proportion of ALL men do they represent? So, is it really justified to say that men are beasts who are better kept away from?
In the world I live in these assholes fortunately are a statistically small minority. "Normal" loving fathers, loving husbands and loving male partners are not the exception but by far the majority.
But they are quiet.
