My uncle has a lake cabin that has been in the family for over century now. Every year he adds on a section here and there. New deck and dock project in the works currently. This thing has grown from a tiny 2 bed shack to a monstrous 5 bed jungle-barn (he owned a garden business so the interior is covered with large potted plants and trees).

My cousins (both SDEs) have been able to spend a few summers here on remote work and it has been a goal of mine to do this as well. This weekend my brother and I got to bring our kids down here and it was probably the first time in 20 years we've had kids playing on the beach. Lots of good memories and probably more so for my mom and uncle getting to see another generation growing up here.
