I won't call you a religious radical, but I will point out that this is an incredibly narrow and limiting (and perhaps dangerous) proposal. If this is true, then nobody with the capacity to question authority (for instance, the authority of the bible as a source of truth), or to imagine more than one single narrative has a chance to expand his wisdom, or to develop a strong ethical/moral sense. As if it all hinges on the ability to "hear" a "spirit", whatever that might mean.
