- 1/2 cup of butter (113g)
- 1/2 cup of cocoa powder (50g)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (120g) or same weight in granulated sugar (a little over 1/2 cup)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg yolk (or just an entire egg doesn't make that much of a different tbh)
- 3/4 cup flour (90g)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (or however much you want)

- brown the butter
- add the cocoa powder and cook for about a minute in medium-low heat
- add the sugar and beat
- add the yolk/egg and beat even harder
- add the salt and flour and mix
- add the chocolate chips (make sure its not too hot or the chips will melt)
- bake for ~30-40 minutes depending on how you like it
