I think the problem some of these WordPress blogs are going to have is with hashtags. Almost no content that comes from a WordPress blog seems to use them, and so their posts just hang out there in purgatory, with little interaction.
I've started solving that issue by just putting hash tags on top. Not so pretty, but it doesn't look too terrible, and the articles can find their way to an audience.
