During my Nostr propagation tests I attempted to verify how much my posts push theirself forward.
At the beginning I had several inefficient relays because too much small or that didn't propagated my posts or that did same job of others (doubles).
In my opinion doesn't exists an exact number of relays to connect to, but I discovered my balance as soon as I verified my contact list relays support.
It means that some users decides independently to connect at very few relays (~2 ~3) and this determine their full isolation.
In my experiment I found a good trade off among battery life and good propagation with at least 12 well distributed relays.
In next days I will monitor further the situation in order to maximize the efficiency (propagation/battery).
