Interesting... never heard of Warhammer 40K.
But with the capacity to save so much, if people really wanted to make an effort to do it, they could save the raw content.
I'm talking from the perspective of someone keeping a handwritten journal of two pages per day since 1995. I eventually type it onto a Word doc. Storage capacity is incredible nowadays... if you want to do it.
