"content": "Not bad! Residency in Australia (back when my wife did it in the 90's) requires you to live together with an Aussie citizen for 2 years as a couple - there it's called de facto, here in the US it's \"commonlaw\", so it's a bit easier to get permanent residency there. Also have to prove it - show joint major purchase proof, get friends to sign affidavits that they attest to you as a couple etc. Then whammo, after 2 years you can apply for LPR.",
