I started building Jukedec years ago. It started as a Static Site Generator that built websites for artists entirely from the metadata available from uploaded MP3 files.
Then I got this idea that we could host internet radio stations that would operate as jukeboxes from a federated library of music.
Anyway, this #faircamp movement and jam.coop are doing exactly what I set out to do 3 years ago. But doing it better.
But at least I did some cool stuff with http://jukedec.com/ !
