Mastodon got a lot of shit for all the “hall monitor” behavior, but I gotta say, of all the platforms I use, I get admonished on Threads more often than anywhere else. People feel emboldened to tell me what THEY think I should say, do, believe, or feel. I have no theory as to why yet.
