I think it was just past thirty when I started to think every time I was asked how old I was. Past forty I sometimes just say the wrong number.

Of course, at the same time people are less likely to ask me how old I am so it isn't at the front of my mind.

I was quite good at remembering when I worked in a school because asking people how old they are is just regular smalltalk for kids.
