Apple will have pissed a few billion down the drain—but their current market cap is 2.98 *trillion* dollars, on revenue of nearly $400Bn/year. They spend over $5Bn/year on R&D alone. They could probably afford to fund a Moon mission just to stream it on Apple TV+. If Vision Pro flops it's just a road bump.
