So, my bank autopaid the old amount. The mortgage lender kept my money (applying it to the principle) and acted as if i had never paid them at all.

Before this, the computer system acted like we hadn't paid them when my ex and I attempted to pay the mortgage in two amounts. It acted like we never paid them and applied a late fee despite TAKING THE MONEY
I yelled at them until they removed the late fee
