In 1888, this building on Gray Street in the West End of Glasgow was the Office for the International Exhibition of Science, Art and Industry in Kelvingrove Park, the first of the city's grand exhibitions. The only other surviving structures from this exhibition are the Doulton Fountain, which was later moved to Glasgow Green, and the Fairy Fountain, which is apparently now in Maryborough in New South Wales in Australia.
