The Israeli government makes life hard for Christians and they're persecuted in Jerusalem, so I'm not a fan of them either, but I think it's silly to think the raging hordes at the gates just want peace.
They will consider the area peaceful, when they control all of it and have driven the Jews into the sea. And not a minute earlier.
