The thing about Reform is that many of their voters were switching to oppose the Tories. This only works in a FPTP system.
If we had some form of PR, I suspect* the Reform vote share would go down. Yes, they would probably have seats, but everyone would have to negotiate, meaning it might prove less attractive.
* I know my suspicions are not proven, and cannot be. But some of the protest vote would be lost by a more representative system.
