I've been to Utah and I can safely say Mormonism (not all of them, but many the higher ranking ones) are cultists. I knew some people who later left the cult because of their LGBTQ stance (one of them later came out as a lesbian and found a partner who SHE wanted.
Religion should make people better people, not worse and certainly not be forced on anybody who is unwilling to follow it.
