Just test your stuff in multiple browsers to ensure cross-compatibility, maybe? It's not like there's 34 web engines out there. There's only 3. You lazy arses.
Apple has spoiled a whole generation of developers who have now become nothing more than IDE-jockey who oppose any decision that would break Apple's immoral closed garden with "but then we have to test our things on more things!"
They currently build their thing only once, test it only on one type of device, only with one type of web engine, and that's it.
It's time for them to finally learn that testing your software against multiple devices and browsers isn't the exception, it's the norm.
