god, I miss when software was distributed like this. It felt a lot like a mixtape for nerds: weird games, system utilities, prankware, and volumes of clipart and novelty fonts.
I had something similar (Mac-specific) and I still remember how cool it was to rummage through these things. There didn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to the contents—more like some oddball person just took their whole apps folder and was like, "whatever, let's put this into the world"
