Talking to a friend who is also #ActuallyAutistic and parent of autistic children, and we realised that part of autistic children's trauma in education is that they don't get time to build up secure relationships and working accommodations with their teachers before they get moved onto the next class and the next teacher. It would be far better for children if we allowed them to maintain stable relationships with their educators throughout their childhood.
