As I was going to bed on Saturday night the sky lit up with a pulse of light. My neurotic mind thought it might have been a bomb, but it turns out to have been a meteorite near Croydon about 350km from where I am in Herberton, Far North Queensland, Oz.
The sound blast did not audibly reach me.
At least I now know that I'm not going mad, not about this anyway.
