Yay, it’s spring! If you’re the kind of person who’s already looking forward to fall, I have a cup for you 🤣
There are impressions of real wild passionfruit (Passiflora incarnata) leaves on two sides, which have been “pinched” in to make holding the cup extra comfy and visually interesting.
I picked the leaves from the patch that grows outside my studio. I’ve checked every fall for years, but never been able to get a ripe fruit… the animals must always beat me to them!
The leaves and inside were glazed with orange, yellow, and green translucent glazes while most of the outside of the cup was left as bare clay. The cup is food- and dishwasher-safe!
