First, stop thinking of racism as a binary thing, that you are either dancing around a burning cross in a KKK robe, or else completely "not racist" (to quote Ibram X. Kendi, who studies racism, "I'm not even sure what 'not racist' is supposed to mean").
It's not a binary thing. We are all influenced by the racist assumptions communicated by our racist culture to varying degrees. We're all bigoted to different degrees on different topics and with regard to different marginalized groups.
