Fifty years ago, this piece of furniture sat in my grandparent’s kitchen.
It had a heavy black rotary-dial landline phone on the top shelf and The Yellow Pages and Thomas Maps on the bottom shelf.
Today, I’m using a device that takes pictures, makes phone calls, can search the world’s addresses, and guides me to my destination with voice.
Technology is advancing - exponentially.
As I’ve learned from Jeff Booth (npub1s05…eyhe), advances in technology make prices fall to their marginal cost of production. And sure enough, the camera, search, and map apps on my phone are free.
