/me turns it off and on again, somehow hoping the miracle will happen. But no, 224.0.0.251 remains silent.
In fact, google home can't control the lights either (even though it talks to them over the internet). It basically feels like the Hue hub had a reset. Apart from where you can still operate it via the Hue app and all the lights work there.
