This is a good summary of why social media posts about agile (not Agile™), XP, proper CI/CD practices, trunk-based development, etc., are often met with scepticism. Life in the desert is... tough.

Sure, it's important to let desert dwellers know that forests exist. But more important than that is actually cultivating those forests while desertification intensifies across the industry.
