d (npub15fk…j9gr) I didn't find Java to be all that bad honestly. Yes, it's annoyingly verbose, but it's not a huge deficiency. To be sure, my experience is limited to writing a terminal emulator (for which I needed to access pty through JNI) and a small Android app.
