Missing from the list: federated full-length blog, for example Plume. I know it exists, but I haven't poked it yet.
As for unified identity, I do think there’s value in maintaining separate accounts on separate instances. Cross-linking in bio allows easy cross-platform following, and one can always boost one’s own cross-platform posts.
But an optional feature "follow this account and all their linked fediverse accounts” might be nice.
