If only this was true but it’s not even the case. At best, #vaccines have had a limited impact in the eradication of the diseases they were introduced to combat. Most diseases for which we have vaccines were in strong decline before the introduction of vaccines. Then, you have the principle of vaccination which in itself makes sense but in practice it introduces many unintended consequences. Ultimately, vaccines should be like every other medicine and be let up to each individual to take or not. The data doesn’t support the consideration of vaccines as part of public health policies.
