Just refilled the hummingbird feeder, and as I was hanging up the newly-filled feeder, a hummingbird came up, landed on it, and got a drink while I was standing with my head about a foot from the feeder. That was pretty dang neat. I would’ve taken a photo, but while I was moving (slowly) to get my phone out of my pocket a rufous hummingbird came and chased the first birb away.
