#UAS #Teensy #FlightTest Friday I took the day off work and went out to my local RC field and finally test flew the latest evolution of my autopilot project. Here is a video that is just a bunch of clips I recorded through the afternoon. The day started out really rough with several issues I hadn't caught in lab testing (of course!) This was partially to be expected, but I was still pretty annoyed at myself for missing some things. I can test from launch to landing driving the hardware from a simulator with simulated sensors. I can test the sensors statically on the ground. But putting the sensors in the air exposed a couple things I missed. But I worked through them and managed to get a couple really nice flights! I came home with a long list of squawks, an intact airplane, and almost two hours of flight time, so that was a wild success!
