I usually only replace shower curtain liners when I'm moving house, and sometimes not even then. Instead I will throw them in the washer with bleach and a little soap from time to time.
Today I found out what happens when you do that for seven years. It also turns out that shower curtain liners can shred into a whole lot of pieces. 😳
