“This bring us to a notable difference between the Lord’s Prayer in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, which is the absence of the statement “Thy kingdom come…” This intriguing variation prompts us to ponder: Was in fact the kingdom established after Christ’s resurrection? If so, then it’s time for us to partake in sacred communion, to sit down at the table with our Lord and Savior.

As far as Jesus goes, he doesn’t just want to sit at the head of a grand table; He yearns for a one-on-one with each of us, discussing life, sharing in our joys, and comforting our sorrows. Are you interested? What will you discuss with Him? Will you express your gratitude for all He’s done for you? Would the atmosphere be filled with laughter or perhaps the silent acknowledgment of His love and mercy, that we surely do not merit?”
