Microsoft went hard forcing people to buy new hardware for their Windows 11. But, instead of keeping an OS without support (and known to be pretty much a big ass spyware), you could replace Windows 10 for a Linux distro. Here is a list of the most common alternatives:
- Ubuntu is the most known, but if you install it, disable any telemetry.
- Mint is Ubuntu for people who even Ubuntu seems hard to use. LOL. Backup everything before any update of this distro, tho.
- Arch is for nerds who like to brag about nerdy stuff with other incel nerds.
- Manjaro is Arch for human beings (recommended)
- PCLinuxOS is a boomer distro without systemd (my 2nd recommendation)
- MXLinux. I dunno why the hype, but ok.
