I study Theravada Buddhism a lot. You are right on some points, but it is always better to live in a more welcoming and empathetic environment than in the middle of chaos. After all, every human being knows the pain they are capable of enduring.
Our experiences, although collective, affect us individually according to our own trigger emotions. Never belittle or underestimate the individual pain of others.
